Little is said about Fred in Denis Hawkings book on the family except he was a farmer. In the 1914 Kelly’s Directory he is farming at Berrow. Farmed at Stoney Causeway, Berrow (voters list 1885), which he was left by his father. Never married. 1883 Land registry entry for Berrow – 112 acres, estimated rental value £38 6s

Edgar (1896-1968) and Dolly Hawkings

Born Mar 5th 1896, Married Aug 27th 1924 – Dorothy Blanche Plaister, Died Feb 3rd 1968. They had one son – Denis, born 1927 at Apple Tree Farm, who wrote the books about the Hawkings family.
